If we assume 331 is to the left (1st) in our sequence.
We know that 312, 323 and the unidentified were there.

Another pic and another Tiger(s) from the same sequence.

Missing mud guard or turned up?

If we assume a position facing our row of tanks then this one of 323 looks like it is located further to right of the previous pics.

I vaguely recall other pics in this sequence which show 3-4 vehicles.
I agree it looks like 323 to the right, but it could be an unknown, maybe the next is an unknown too.

How about this .....Long shot..

331 is near the two tankers standing off in the distance and has been reversed into position out of sight.


The gap between the trees, the cut branches?

Before..

And after it has reversed undercover?

This one has me scratching my head.
Like you, I thought it was 323,

Here, it doesnt have the hull side wire hangers,


In this one, it does but they are u shaped, not angular.


Their number and position relative to the Balkenkruze doesn't match.


If it is 323, then it would appear to have had three hull swaps.

A slightly clearer scan of Pascal's pic, it looks like
?..maybe a 2 then 4


This one is From the Japanese Publication Achtung Panzer 6, which they believe to be 502 due to the symbol on the hull front, although it is noted as 503 in the BA,
Under magnification the symbol maybe the 503 Tigers head.

Hi Chris,
Good points regarding 111-211 thank you.
The thin partial black outline around the 211 numbers might explain the the low visibility in the flatcar pic.
Were the pics you and Mario posted of 211 and 231 taken back in Germany?
If so was the original 211 returned as write off too?

I didn't know the source in my previous post of 133 which is in Trojcas, Tiger at War



This Pic appears in Jentz, Tigers at the front.


Given the same Russian Prisoners are still aboard,
both were taken in same time frame.
In the first, the camo pattern is obvious whilst in the second , taken at a different angle it is barely discernable.

This is a cropped image of the photo in the gallery as 211.
211 had a side turret hatch and a production turret bin.
111 had double ports and a PZ 111 bin, whilst the bin is missing it outline and fittings are visible.
Any takers?

Looking at the new left handside shot of 2 the number is in the location corresponding with the five, the background appears lighter


on the right hand side we see the 2 further forward again with the background lighter, a painted out patch.

The five is on a dark part of the camo.

Was 2, 5 first?

The missing mantlet bolt is covered by a patch more than likely to repair impact damage, thanks to Don Campbell for pointing this out.






The side of the patch is visible to the right of the radio operators head.

There are similarities between 1313 and the unknown.
Same tool mounted on the front hull.
At one point 1313 has been fitted with spare tracks on the hull front.
Notek mount.
Turret smoke discharger mounts missing.
Both front mudguards are missing their outer segment.
